🐝 Why I Love Real Estate
Some people fall in love with real estate at their first closing.
I fell in love with it standing on raw land in 2006, sun on my face, hiking boots on, flagging tape in hand, helping my dad design a subdivision.
There’s something transformative about walking a property and imagining what it could become. The perfect homesite. The view corridor. The way the light filters through the trees in late afternoon. That’s where it started for me — in the quiet magic of the Hill Country.
And all these years later, that same spark is still here.
I’m an Extrovert Who Loves People (Truly!)
I don’t just like people — I thrive on meeting them, helping them, and cheering them on.
I’m fun, energetic, and consistent, and real estate gives me the perfect excuse to talk to new people every single day… and then guide them through one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
My clients always tell me that I’m:
- With them every step of the way.
- A steady voice in a stressful process.
- Above and beyond — one even said, “If we could give 11 stars, we would.”
Honestly, that might be my favorite testimonial ever.
I Love Making a Property Shine
Launching a listing? That’s my Super Bowl.
There’s a special moment when the photos, staging, design tweaks, and marketing all come together — and suddenly the property isn’t just “for sale”… it’s irresistible.
Design is in my DNA.
So is creating order out of chaos (oldest child energy is undefeated).
Renovations, flip houses, style choices, Honey-Do lists… I’m in my element.
If you need a person for something?
I have a guy.
In fact, I once joked about creating a “Liza List,” like Angie’s List — but funnier and with more Hill Country charm.
The Negotiation High Is Real
Call it strategy.
Call it timing.
Call it the thrill of getting my clients a win…
But I love negotiating — in a healthy, collaborative, let’s-get-this-done way.
There is nothing better than getting another property under contract and seeing happy, relieved clients at the finish line.
That moment never gets old.
Years of Experience, But Still Excited Every Day
I earned my license in 2004 (wild, I know), and between my years in Fredericksburg and the time I spent abroad, I now have 14 full-time years of Hill Country real estate under my belt.
Since 2018, I’ve hit:
- The Millionaire Club every single year
- Top 20% in Hill Country MLS
- Top 100 Agents in San Antonio
- $75+ million in sales since joining eXp Realty
But for me, the numbers only tell a piece of the story.
The real story is the people I get to help, the land I get to walk, the homes I get to redesign, and the dream-to-reality moments I get to witness.
This is more than a job.
It’s a calling.
And I’m grateful I get to wake up and do it every day.
Real Estate Is Where All My Strengths Meet
✔ I’m an extrovert who genuinely loves people
✔ I’m organized and efficient (oldest-child perks!)
✔ I’m steady, consistent, and communicative
✔ I love design and renovations
✔ I have a head for numbers
✔ I get things done
✔ And I truly, wholeheartedly enjoy the journey with my clients
Real estate is where all of that collides — beautifully.
And that’s why I love it.
