This week’s adventure? A spontaneous trip to Hobby Lobby that turned into a full-on bee-themed treasure hunt.
Sometimes inspiration strikes in the most unexpected places… and sometimes it’s in the craft aisle at Hobby Lobby.
I popped in for “just one thing” (famous last words) and ended up buzzing my way straight to their bee-themed décor section. It’s like the universe put honey in my path—table runner with buzzing bees, honeycomb measuring spoons and the sweetest little trinkets that practically begged to come home with me.
Of course, I couldn’t resist. These finds are going to add even more charm to The Hive, my bee-themed B&B compound here in Fredericksburg, and I’ve already got ideas for where each one will land. A few will make their way into guest spaces, and a couple might just stay at my own hive at home.
Little touches like this make spaces feel special—whether it’s for my guests, my real estate clients, or just my own cozy corner. Because in the Hill Country, it’s all about creating a home that makes you feel warm, welcome, and maybe just a little buzzed (in the honey sense, of course).
